Simone is a Senior Associate at CAR in São Paulo.
He advises insurers on complex insurance coverage matters, including, but not limited to, the handling of large and complex claims in the areas of General Liability, Errors and Omissions (E&O), and Directors and Officers (D&O) insurance.
Simone has more than 20 years of civil law experience, gained through in-house legal roles at insurance companies, where she provided legal support to claims, product and underwriting teams, as well as through her work at leading specialist law firms in the Brazilian insurance market. Her experience covers both contentious and non-contentious civil matters. She holds a postgraduate qualification in Civil Law from Mackenzie Presbyterian University and is currently undertaking a postgraduate course in Contract Law at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV). She is also a certified Insurance Broker, accredited by the National School of Insurance (ENS).
