Laís is an associate at the CAR office in São Paulo.

A lawyer with strong experience in Aviation Law, Laís is directly involved in the adjustment of major aviation losses in Brazil, crisis management, and the coordination of complex matters involving insurers, reinsurers, air carriers, and regulatory authorities. Specialized in Civil and Procedural Law, she focuses her practice on strategic civil litigation and legal advisory, with consolidated experience in Insurance, Reinsurance, and large risks. She advises domestic and international companies in high‑complexity disputes before courts across Brazil. Her practice also includes the analysis and interpretation of insurance policies, portfolio management, and the conduct of disputes involving financial lines and surety bonds in both public and private contexts. Fluent in English, she is well equipped to operate in international and cross‑border matters.

Laís holds a law degree from the State University of Londrina (UEL), an Executive MBA in Law: Management and Business Law from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), a specialization in Civil Law and Civil Procedural Law from the São Paulo Law School (EPD), and an Executive Course in Competitive Project Management from the State University of New York (SUNY).
