Bernardo is a partner in CAR’s Rio de Janeiro office with focus on insurance and shipping law.

Bernardo is a Brazilian qualified lawyer, with a solid experience in private practice, representing international and Brazilian clients in Court and arbitration on Insurance and Reinsurance and Shipping matters. Bernardo also advises clients in claims handling and loss adjustment procedures. Bernardo holds an LL.M from FGV Rio School of Law in Business Law / Admiralty Law and a Master’s Degree in Legal Theory from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.

Bernardo is a portuguese native speaker, speaks fluent english and has good knowledge of french and spanish.
