She specialises in aeronautical law, with over 15 years of experience handling a wide variety of claims in Brazil, defending the interests of air operators, airport operators, and their insurers and reinsurers in relation to passenger, baggage, cargo, and third-party claims.
She regularly writes articles on major developments in aeronautical law in Brazil and is a speaker at aviation-focused events in Brazil and abroad. Mariana holds an LLM from UCL (London).
She is a qualified lawyer in Brazil and in England and Wales, and speaks Portuguese, English, Spanish, and French.
