About Dinir

Dinir is a partner in CAR’s São Paulo office. He specialises in insurance and reinsurance, working for insurers, reinsurers, insurance brokers, pension funds, and financial institutions.

Dinir has worked on several significant claims in Financial Lines, civil liability, surety insurance, and property insurance, having experience in claims adjustment as well as in judicial and arbitral litigation.

He also has experience in Corporate Law, M&A, regulatory insurance matters, and contracts in general.

Dinir graduated in Law from PUC/SP, holds an LL.M from the University of London, a Master’s degree in Law from PUC/SP, and is a Ph.D. candidate at PUC/SP.

He is a former Coordinator and professor of the Mergers, Acquisitions, and Corporate Reorganizations Course at the Law School of Fundação Getúlio Vargas (Direito GV). He is also a former professor of the Civil Liability Specialization Course at Funenseg, and authored books and articles.

In addition to his native language, Portuguese, Dinir is fluent in English and Spanish, and has a good knowledge of Italian.

He is registered with the Bar Association in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Portugal, and England and Wales.
